Hello!  Well it looks like autumn is here and I thought I would share a little tutorial for some autumn themed nail art!

For this you will need:

• White polish
• Yellow, orange and red polishes for your gradient
• Brown or black polish
• Dotting tools
• Orange stick
• Glitter
• Nail polish remover
• Cotton buds/brush for clean up
• Top coat

So to start, paint your nails a white base coat.  My go to base at the moment is Rimmel White Hot Love.

Use a damp make up sponge to apply your gradient.  For a full tutorial on gradients, check out my detailed tutorial here.

Apply a top coat.

And then carefully clean up using a cotton bud/brush and nail polish remover.

Next, using a dotting tool and a dark brown polish, start to draw out some branches.  

They don't need to be uniform or the same on each nail, whatever fits/suits.

Apply another branch at the base of your nail if you've got space.

Then use a dotting tool to add some red and yellow flowers to your branches.

Add a contrasting colour to the centre of your flowers.

Finish off with some glittery bits...

Topcoat, and bosh, you're done!

Hello!  I've got some flowers for you today!



This looks like it's quite tricky, but it really isn't.... Start with a white base and then use a dotting tool to draw out some flowers.  Add in some dotting details and a bit of glitter and you're good to go!

Hello!  I'm still ALL about the blingy nails... This is definitely becoming an easy go to manicure when I want something quick and easy but still with a little wow factor...



These are so easy to do - paint each nail a different colour then add your blingy bits (I don't glue then on, I just set them into the wet polish).  Apply a top coat and that'll seal them in, I usually get a good few days out of them if I'm careful.

Hello!  I've got the juiciest of all the oranges to show you today.... This is Ava by Maggie Anne.



This was a new brand I'd not tried before so I was keen to see if the promise of a quick, easy to apply gel-like formula stood up to the test.

Maggie Anne polishes are also 6 free and vegan friendly.



This was LOVELY to apply - streak free and I loved the fat brush.  This was pretty much opaque in two coasts but I've gone for three here...  also; no top coat here - and look at the SHINE!



I decided to jazz this up with a little bit of a polka dot pattern...



So, it's a YES from me.  Lovely.

Hello!  I've got some lovely decals to show you today from Nicole Diary. 



These were really great quality and easy to use.  I painted my nails with a base coat of white, and then as the pattern comes on a sheet, I cut to size, and then soaked in water then applied to my nail.

Simply file off any lose edges then finish with a top coat.  One thing I sometimes struggle with is that my nails can be too long for full nail decals, but these still had about 0.5cm room for maneuver which was great!

Hello!  I've got a christmas robin tutorial for you today.

For this you will need:

Start off with a base colour.  I've gone for a pale green.  Pick a fairly light colour so that your robin will show up nicely over the top.

Using a brown polish, paint a small half circle at the tip of your nails.

Then use a red polish to paint a smaller circle inside.

Use a dotting tool to add two small dots for the eyes.

Use a black polish to carefully add two dots inside the eyes.

Use a gold polish and a small dotting tool to add a beak and feet to your robin.

Use a bright red polish to draw on your santa hat.

Use white polish to finish off your hat.

Let this all dry thoroughly and then finish with a top coat.

Voila!  Christmas robins!

Hello!  I thought I could squeeze in another Christmas themed nail art for you, and today it's the turn of the snowman...

For this you will need:

• A blue polish
• A shimmery polish (optional)
• A white polish
• A black polish
• A black nail art pen or really fine paintbrush
• An orange polish
• A top coat
• Dotting tools

First, start with a blue base coat.  I've gone for a light blue and then added an old favourite of Models Own Indian Ocean, which adds a beautiful shimmer over the top.

Then use a white polish and dotting tools to add some snowfall.

Use the dotting tool again to add some snow at the tips of your nails.

Then add your snowman body.  I've added on two nails, but you could just do one accent nail or have snowmen on all your nails - whatever you fancy.

Use a nail art pen or a really fine paintbrush to add arms on your snowman.

Using a nail art pen or a dotting tool, carefully add eyes and mouth.

Use a dotting tool and your orange to add a nose.

And add some dots for buttons down the front of your snowman.

Add him a little hat...

And finish with a top coat.  Don't drag too hard when applying your top coat, you don't want your design to run...

Hello!  I hope everyone is all prepared for the festive season and has some lovely plans.  Today I've got the new Glitterball collection from Models Own to show you, and they are perfect for the party season... Looking for your NYE polish?  Look no further...
